Hi Everyone,
Please let me know what is the use of DataCaptionFields property of page, and how to use this property.
I tried to findout from help of nav 16. but did not get much more enough.
Please suggest.

please suggest any example for DataCaptionField property of page where we select any field, how it will look to user interface after selecting the fields. what is difference between DataCaptionField property of table and DataCaptionField property of page.
if we see page No. 25- DataCaptionFields Customer No., what is the impact of selecting customer no. if remove then we are not getting any changes on page.
There's no any predefined rule as where it should be used, It all depends on the Customer's need. Normally Primary Key values is supposed to be reflected there.
same table is used for sales quote, order, invoice etc.
if you want to override table datacaprionfield values in any specific page then you have to use page level setup.

I noticed, Sales header table property DataCaptionFields (No.,Sell-to Customer Name), and page of sales quotes with property DataCaptionFields is blank, If i am not wrong data caption shown on sales quotes only comes from table dataCaptionFields property.
please suggest me when should we use the dataCaptionFields property of page.
It will be shown when page is opened with fields you provided
