Hi:

I have started SharePoint integration in Dynamic CRM 2016 at my local server,

I am not sure that where to start and How I can complete SahrePoint Integration.

I started this task and I am not sure that SharePoint should be installed at my local server or not?

If I have to install at my local server, then what is best suitable SharePoint version for Dynamic CRM 2016.

Please provide solution in this regard, I am quite new to SharePoint and Dynamic CRM.

Thanks.

    Hi,

    please review msdn.microsoft.com/.../gg334768.aspx

Since you are on CRM online, using Sharepoint online (CRM 365) would fit best.

On prem you could use the foundation versions of SP 2010 or 2013.

I don't think you would go for he enterprise version.

SP integration would mean setting up a document library in SP and adding it in the CRM SP settings.

Then you can define for each entity weither it us allowed to store documents in CRM.

Hey there! I hear you're tackling SharePoint integration with Dynamics CRM 2016. It can be a bit tricky, especially since the built-in options are fairly basic.

Here's a tip: consider using a third-party integration app called SharePoint Security Sync. It keeps permissions in sync between CRM and SharePoint, so users only see documents they are allowed to in CRM. It saves a ton of time and keeps things secure!

Here's a quick rundown to get you started in 4 steps:
Bonus tip: If you intend to secure Dynamics 365 documents/attachments into SharePoint using SharePoint Security Sync, check out this blog for a handy guide.

    Thanks,
    Sam
