In payroll, does anyone know a way to have the system take a particular deduction ONLY if it can take the full amount ?

I guess I need to be more clear. It needs to take the full amount out a single check or take nothing.
However, what I want is - let's say the deduction is for $100.00 and after taking out taxes, there is only $45.00 left which would take the pay to $0.
In this case, I would want it to take nothing - not the $45
