Hi,
I've got my SL2011 setup with the project budgeting module. Our users are asking about the historical budgeting feature. Please, does somebody around know what this feature is?
Checking on the documentation it does indeed mention this feature several times. Like "check this if you are going to use historical budgeting" or "careful with that if you are using the historical budgeting feature". But it fails to mention what this feature is, or it's my fail not finding this out.
I do know the database tables PJBHSSUM and PJBHSROL do hold the the data and we've done some custom reporting on this, but what the users want to know is which standard SL screens are affected by this feature. In concrete, what they want to know is whether the profit queries (PAPNR000, PAPND00), since they are period-sensitive, are using the historical budget data when looking at past periods.
I think myself this is pretty arguable, do you want to see how you really were doing six months ago, or what you thought you were doing?
