hey there as you see on this receipt design

i want change tow those fields that inside red square to Arabic language,

and when i check the design i found these tow fields are a single field named [Tender Name] from footer section

so i want change this to Arabic language, and when i delete this single field [Tender Name] and replaced by normal text Arabic , this text disappear so how can i solve this problem to replaced this to Arabic language

*Note: i'm using ax2012r3

Hi Mohammed,

[Tender name] is not static text, this is the name of variable. So it cannot be changed in AX design.

When building receipt layout, POS will add multiple 'tender lines' to the receipt add insert tender description instead of [Tender name] variable for each tender line (for example, 'Card', 'Customer account' and etc.). Tender description is usually the name of 'Payment method' from AX.

sorry but i have some question as you told me Tender name have multiple lines

as i see above code [returnvalue] overload all lines of Tender name but

how can select line to change it like [cash] & [change back]?

or where can i found Contents of [cash] & [change back] from Tender description to change it?

sorry i'm new on retail

or can i change from here?

Hi Mohammed,

For different payment operations field 'Description' is populated using different rules.
For 'Pay cash', 'Pay credit memo', 'Pay gift card', 'Pay loyalty' this will be 'Tender name' from the form on your screenshot
For 'Pay card' - POS label 3270 + card name,
For 'Pay check' - POS label 3300,
For 'Pay currency' - POS label 3310 + currency code,
For 'Pay customer account' - POS label 3320

If you change the text of 'Payment method' in AX to Arabic, on POS screen text for payments will also become Arabic.
If this is OK for customer, then for 'Pay cash' ... 'Pay loyalty' you can change text in AX to Arabic,
For 'Pay card' ... 'Pay customer account' you need to create new POS labels in AX (picture below) + run 1090 job + restart POS to fetch new labels. But this will also lead to change of payment text on POS screen to Arabic.
