Set Focus for Composite fields

Hi,

Inside the address composite field i have a required on Zip/Postal Code field. if i didn't  enter the field and click save, it is not focusing to that field.

How can i dot it?

    Hi,

    you can try use JS to set the focus on composite field. Besides that, you have to use F12 to see the ID.

    Hi ,

    Yes I am also experienced with this behavior with composite field , even the field is required but its not focusing the required field. However you can see below right corner beside save button you will find the message .

    Even if you write any JS in the onsave event to set focus of the control in client side ,it  will not focus on composite field ,  this is because OOB business required validation will trigger first before your JavaScript code . So this is kind of limitation  and you need to trained user accordingly by showing  above screenshot .

    You can also give  ideas to MS about this .

    Hi,

    You will observe this behavior for all Composite fields across the CRM in other entities as well e.g. Contact: Full Name, Address. If composite field is business required, you will get error message at screen right bottom. However if you click to enter value in Composite field, it won't allow you to leave the field without entering the value. Check below  image for reference.
