Report need to display only active price

The above report displays all prices for an selected item, but i need the report to be displayed only active price(latest price) for an specific item.

Can anyone help me how to do that.

    Hi SriRanjani,

    There is a view InventItemPriceCurrentActive that you can join with InventItemPrice table to get latest prices.

    InventItemPriceCurrentActive i'm using ax 2009..

    there is no such table..

    It's quite easy to build it, just group by ItemId, VersionId, PriceType, InventDImId and take max of ActivationDate and createdDateTime. Then you can use it as DS or join InventITemPrice to get latest active record.

    I created the view as u said but wat i need to display in my report is

    above highlighted record to display for tat item( using 2 fields createddatetime and recid) 

    createddatetime- should be latest time and recid should be highest one among the four..

    so if i gave the ballpen item in filter the above result needs to display in my report..

    Help me how to do tat..

    So then remove version id from fields and group by and you will get what you need.

    Ya i did tat nd now got tat highest created datetime record..

    Now wat i need is i need to display the price for tat corresponding item, how can i do tat..

    Just join view to the table, you shoud have all the key fields in the view now to find only one record.
