Getting All Records On 1 Page, Fetch XML

ReportReport
Posted on by

Hi,

I am using Fetch XML to communicate with my CRM, and I am running into an issue. I created a report to access the entity - "Invoice". Query below. My issue is I have 2 different invoices at this present time, and when I preview/run the report all of the invoices show up on the same report, I have added count='1' / count='50' and no count to the fetch xml column. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! I would like it to be able to go "Page 1 of 2" or "Page 2 of 2".

Thanks,

    So you tried count="1" inside the fetch tag and it didn't work?

    <fetch count="1" mapping="logical">

     <entity name="invoice">

       <all-attributes />

     </entity>

    </fetch>

    I pulled this FetchXML syntax from this website:  http://www.sql2fetchxml.com/

    This link is showing how to do aggregation in fetchxml

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../gg309565.aspx

    and this is showing how to get top number of records from fetchxml.

    My understanding of your post: You have multiple invoice records being returned by the fetch and you would like to display each invoice in its own page. Is this correct?

    Based on this, my suggestion: Group the detail by invoicenumber and add a page break to the group. This should render each invoice in a separate page.. Refer to https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/dd207058.aspx

    For testing of FetchXML, you can test here online http://msxrmtools.com
