Turning off E-Reconcile in Dynamics GP 2015

I am a consultant working with a client that implemented GP about 18 months ago.  Initially, my client thought the E-Reconcile feature was a good idea for their one bank account and our partner set it up.  However, my client found it too difficult and have never used it.

Each time we try to reconcile the bank statement, we are receiving a message about "Do you want to match deposits to the xx day grace period".  Whether we answer yes or no, eventually a new window opens and the "Gathering Transactions" process starts.  This process takes some time before the reconcile screen opens.

Since we are not uploading any files and there is no active configurator, does anyone know how we can turn off the E-Reconcile feature once and for all?

Thank you in advance!

I will also mention that we are not interested in "fixing" or "reformatting" the E-Reconcile feature - we simply want to turn it off - thank you!

I would then suggest you remove eRec from the DYNAMICS.SET file. That should disable the entire product without causing any issues in your system.

You can follow this Microsoft Support entry:
