In a sub-grid, how can I hide past created entities? I don't want users to select duplicates. Each record needs to be unique/used only once.
Is there a way to create a new record by clicking the yellow highlighted + icon? instead of the magnifying glass and +new

You could put a filter on that view to hide records that have a created on date (every record will have that)
Make the Regarding field of your child record (the form which is opening on click of New currently ) as Business required. The New record form will open when you click on the + button.
