i still cannot change my Chart of Account even after running SysDatabaseTransDelete

Dear 

I have two new legal entities which were assigned the wrong chart of account to in the ledger setup

but since there are posted transactions to these legal entities, I can't simply change the chart of account in the ledger setup, 

so I ran SysDatabaseTransDelete class on each of them to get rid of the transactions and proceeded to change the Chart of Account 

Result 

in the first legal entity, the Chart of account became unlocked , and I was able to change it to the chart of account which i needed

But 

in the second legal entity, the chart of account remained locked,

what do you think could be the issue?

    Hi Silvano,

    If you have two COA's (A and B) and provided that you have assigned A, why don't you simply add the ledger accounts from B to A and lock the ones that already exist in A?

    I would believe that this is a less risky approach especially if you have already transactions posted.

    Hi Silvano,

    You have to check if all accounting transactions, budget transactions and also subledger accounting transactions are really deleted for these legal entities.

    Table names: GeneralJournalEntry, BudgetTransactionHeader, SubledgerJournalEntry

    If there is a record for the current ledger, you cannot edit the chart of accounts field.
