I just completed my approval workflow but when I submit it through form it says "Failed to find workflow version".
I tried restarting AOS service but on luck. Any help will be appreciated

You should cancel the workflow to take the document back to draft and resubmit the document.

Hi Sourav,

I am getting same issue as you explained. My client is using D365 FO and The document was submitted in workflow version say 1.0.0.1

-- After that workflow configuration was updated and activated it again with a new version now I am getting Error "Failed to find workflow version". while I try to resume it. Pleas suggest.

I am using D365FO. Thanks all for your help. But I had an issue in my submit manager class as wrong configuration id was passed in constructor.

Which version are you on? Are you working on AX 2012 or on D365?

Thank You Sourav for reply. But it is not the case because as soon as I completed the workflow & tried to submit the error appears.

Now I deleted the rows from my table & tried to submit with new record but same error.

In addition; please check the possibility of below points if something like this has happened!

-- The document is submitted in workflow version say 1.0.0.1

-- After that you updated any detail in the workflow configuration and activated it again with a new version 1.0.0.2

-- Then if you go back to the previous document which was created before this change in the workflow configuration and already submitted in the old version of 1.0.0.1; then this could be possible that system will show this error notification because of this version change.
