Kindly need justification for below in explaining to the customer.
During transaction in POS LAN connection is breakdown, based on the technet on below link ‘transaction’ in progress need to be voided:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn720297.aspx
is there any justification on statement or some logic that we can explain to the customer on ‘why we need to void the on progress transaction, when the connection is breakdown?’. Please advise.
can we actually re-call transaction and continue directly in offline mode?
Note: customer is complaining on below scenario, in their supermarket business: as we know 1 transaction can be about 20 -100 products being scanned in one transaction. This scenario is just happen when cashier is facing customer and doing the transaction, during scan of the e.,g. 55th product LAN connection is breakdown and somehow cashier need to void this transaction and need to re-scan all the products.

Hi Ahmad,
Thank you for your reply, let me discuss with the partner if this the work around that is suggested can work. Thank you again.

A possible solution for this is to develop a simple application that records the scanned items in a text file for example, this test file is cleaned once a transaction is posted, so that whenever the application crashes like in your scenario, then this intended add-on will be able to recall the scanned items from the text file. This is an idea that I heard of before and I think this add-on might already exist
