Item No. Code descriptions?

I am in the Items screen and researching Comments for specific Item Nos. I noticed that some items have Codes in the Comment section. Some of the Code lines are blank, while others show I, MCR. Does anyone know what these Codes mean and if there is a list of Codes and their meaning?

Hi

Code is a manual entry, just an option you can use: manual entry, no real meaning I would say.

Maybe 1 important point here related to the comments process

"you can specify if you want comments to be transferred from one type of document to another resulting type of document, such as from a sales order to a sales invoice. You do this in the Sales & Receivables and the Purchases & Payables pages respectively."

Next to comments, you can use extended item text feature, not sure what is your purpose here.

Hi rjJ,

The field CODE, It is another field of length of 10 character length, User can key-in the data they want. The value in the fields are manually updated by user. There is no specific meaning for it.
