Is there a way to make 2011 for GL an open year?

We have not closed the GL for 2011. We are unable to get the transactions for 2011 GL to show in inquiry or on a report. We have closed AR and Inventory.

If you go to Cards->Financial->Account and enter an account that you know has data and then click on Summary and choose 2011 as the open year, are you saying you see no data? Or, which report are you using? Are you sure your are speicifying 2011? If you go into SQL and look at the GL20000 table, do you see any data there with an OPENYEAR of 2011? If not, sounds like someone deleted your data and it is time to roll back from a backup.
