I have deployed the client to a server and installed the scanner software as well tell subway. However, I cannot initiate the software scan due to it being greyed out in Fixlets and Actions. From my own research, it's pointing to the missing software catalog.

Thanks for your replay. Please provide the list of scanner which support document management of GP 2013 R2 version.

My guess is your scanner is equipped with a TWAIN driver, which is not supported by Document Attach in GP 2013. TWAIN scanners are supported with GP 2015 and above with the release of the July Hotfix, so you may need to upgrade to a more recent version of Dynamics GP in order to take advantage of this functionality.
