I recently deployed a development environment from LCS with D365 version 10.0.23 PU 47. This new environment has Visual Studio 2019. I mapped the right development branch from source control: Metadata to "K:\AosService\PackagesLocalDirectory" folder. Refreshed Models in Visual Studio and our custom models are showing. AOT shows our custom model items too. I did a "Synchronize database" from Visual Studio. Sync completed with "successful" message. However, the AXDB database does not have any of our custom tables, entities etc.
What could be wrong here?
Hi Macara,
After you got the latest coding from your repository, did you do a full build of the model(s) before you started the database sync? The sync works only for correctly created runtime components which is not part of the source code, but only available after the build.
