Item Inventory

Hello,
I'm trying to find a way to check inventory. My items have part numbers, lots, and expiration dates. Is there a way to view a bins contents with item quantities, lots and expiration dates? The Items list only give the location not the bin. Bin contents doesn't give the lots or expiration dates. It seems quite difficult to just get basic info in one spot. All I need is Bin location, quantity, the lot and expiration date so I can verify the physical inventory against the system.
Any help, ideas or suggestions are welcome.
Thank you for your time.

Which D365 product are you using? The D365 brand covers quite a few things, such as Finance and Operations, Business Central or Customer Engagement.

Isn't it D365 Supply Chain Management in this case?

    You can use the following:

    1. In the bin content page you can personalize the page to add the Lot Numbers by Bin Factbox, this will show you the lot numbers in each bin. Note that it won't have the expiration dates.

    2. You can use the Warehouse Entries page and get all the information you need, you can export this page to excel or use analysis mode

    3. Try some of the new power bi inventory reports

For reporting at the Location -> Bin -> Item tracking details level, it is not in the standard. So the best approach is to customize a report or submit this idea to Microsoft.

    Hello,

You can customize the change and you can add the Bin Code and Other Required Details in Item Ledger Entries or Warehouse Entries. So All the Related details can be displayed from 1 place.

You can check the Item Availability Page where you have different option to see the inventory levels,

The Item Availability Page is based on the item ledger entries so it doesn't have bin information
