how to enable the field dumb in gp version 10 for the macro?

    Can you please copy the Dex.ini and paste it hear and we will have a look at it.

    many time I do that, close gp application and re login but still not working

    Close GP application and re-login and also record a macro and play it.

    Thanks Mariano, I was breaking my head try to figure out this.. It worked for me, However am wondering what is the use of enabling this, is it merely useful from a programming perspective..

    P.S I believe you had a good time at the Technical conference in Fargo...

    field dumb is a menu/window in the gp(Microsoft Dynamics > Tools > Macro > Advance > Field Dumb(All)../Field Dumb(Selected).. must be enable))where you can save the textfile while creating and running the macro(automation) but before verify set the ShowAdvanceMacroMenu=TRUE in the DEX.INI, I wonder why in version is disable the field dumb , because in version it is enable.
