You need to add fields to the quick find view. See community.dynamics.com/.../microsoft-dynamics-crm-2015-multi-entity-quick-find.aspx

Are you referring CRM 2013 or 2015?  CRM 2013 does not have global search .More over by default lead quick find view has "company name" as quick find column so you should be able to search based on company name.

Hey Scott, I'm working off of CRM 2013 and not 2015. I think the "Global Search" option is the same as the "Quick Find" in 2015. I know I can update visible fields under "Customization", but I'm still unable to find an option to add the "Company Name" field to the customization specifically for Global Search.

    Thanks,

    Ryan

    Hi Chitra,

Thanks for responding... but CRM 2013 does have a global search option. I think that it might be similar to the quick find for CRM 2015.

    Hi Ryan,

By default in Quick Find Search for Lead, already has the Company Name:

I dont now which one you are referring, the keyword, like when I type :"Microsoft" then I will see the list of Lead with Company Name = Microsoft or you want to make the Company Name is appearing in the view, but like the picture (above), you can get the company name by keyword and also appearing in the column in the view.

This is what we call as Quick Find View (already done by CRM)

If you are referring to other views, then there is a famous bug for company name field which is documented here:

    https://www.powerobjects.com/blog/2015/01/09/workaround-show-company-name-lead-views-dynamics-crm/

Or you are referring to the advanced find like this?

Which is having the company name field as the criteria.

    Thank you.
