Removal of Inventory Items

During configuration most of my inventory has been imported and labeled with an abbreviation, is it possible to remove the inventory without affecting the rest of the configuration that has been completed? I want to re-import my inventory so that the description and short description are a little different than they way there are now. I am not sure of the process to remove simply the inventory. Please advise. Thank you!!

Greg,

If all the Item Numbers are correct and you simply want to change the Item Description and Short Names it may be easier to leave the items where they are and either use Integration Manager to Update only the Item Description and Short Name or to do this directly in SQL. I think that may be preferable to deleting then re-importing everything.
