Why this is so,

although i have added the email Id to the contact which is present on account.

whenever i select new from to field on email entity and go to see accounts the Email field is blank.

although i am trying to see any email field on the account entity to fill but it's not there.

why this is happening.

can't we send email to the account or we need to select an individual contact.

    Hi EmployeeOcta,

Not sure I understand the challenge you are facing with the description above but hopefully this answers the question.

I get this problem when I put in an account that does not have the emailaddress1 field filled in on the account.  As soon as I fill this in and leave the email form and come back in the error is removed.  Please verify you are filling in the correct email address field as there are multiple on the account.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks much,

    Hi,

Please make sure the following things are done.

    1. For the account record, fill the Primary Email Address (emailaddress1 field).

    2. In the Contact Preferences section of the account form, make the Email field as Allow.

    Hope this helps.

    Hello Nithya,

There are two views on account form one contains the email address and the other do not contains.

the other form contains email which is from contact.

how can i map account email with contact email.

i want the email should be sent to the contact which contains the email .

second thing i observe that if from field also do not contain the email then also it gives the same error.

    Hi EmployeeOcta,

The contact showing on that form is actually from the Contact entity and that is quick view form that shows information on the primary contact for the account. When you select the person to email from the search in the Email message you will need to choose the Contact, not the Account name as shown below where I could select Alex Wu.  You will need to make sure the contact's email is populated as well which is the emailaddress1 field on the Contact entity.

Hopefully this helps clear up for you.

    Thanks,
