Dynamics 365 pane for Outlook not showing won opportunities

The Outlook Dynamics 365 pane isn't showing CRM opportunities that have already been "won". Our business development team needs to be able to track/set regarding emails to won opportunities because they are still corresponding with the contact and making changes to deals. Is there a way in the settings to change this so that they show up when searched for? Maybe some type of filter? All open opportunities show up, just not the won opportunities. I have included screen shots for reference.

Thanks.

    Hi mdavis3995,

Yes, you should be able to use a filter to get the "won" opportunities on Outlook. Here is a link to help you configure the filter.

    Please verify if this helped!

    Hey Alexis,

I do not have a "Dynamics 365" option when I hit the file tab in my outlook desktop app. I'm dealing with the new dynamics 365 pane, and not the original Dynamics add-in for outlook. I'm trying to follow along with the directions from the link you posted.

update: I found the filter settings in Dynamics 365 online. I do not see any way to set the filter for a won opportunity. Do you have an example?

Can you send a screenshot of what the filter settings look like?

The only filter I can make is a "User Filter" there is no option for me to add a system filter. I'm assuming the user filter is just for my own synchronization and not company wide which is what I need so that all users can see the won opportunities when they search for them.

I have found the option to make the filter for a won opportunity. I'm thinking the status would be closed because the opportunity is "won" but I am not sure. This is the filter I have created. Can't really test it on my self because I am IT and don't deal with any opportunities of my own.

    Hello,

Yes, that was the filter I was referring to. Hopefully it wasn't too hard to find. Is it possible to test it with someone who works with Opportunities?

    Hey Alexis,

This is what I've come up with for the filter.. It doesn't really seem right, but it's all I could think of. What needs to be added to the filter? After I save the filter does it then automatically sync with the Outlook Dynamics 365 pane?

    Thanks.

Hi, The App is using global search/ relvance search for the regarding search, which is based on your quickfind views. Please Check your Filter criteria for quick search. By default you will find only Open opportunities there. If you change that - you should also find closed opps. Best regards, Dennis

    Hey Dennis,

Thanks for the response. I have tried to do it this way before I tried the filters in the general system settings and I keep getting a generic dynamics 365 error when I try to change the filter criteria. I have put in a ticket with Microsoft but no one seems to be able to fix my error. Until then I am stuck as I cannot get past the error.

    Thanks for the input.

    Hey Dennis,

I have had my error resolved by Microsoft. I was able to get to the filter and change it. I changed the opportunity views quick search filter to show "active" and "inactive" opportunities. I changed it yesterday, and the won opportunities are still not showing up in the dynamics 365 for Outlook pane. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
