How to best implement subscription billing (without F&O)

Good afternoon,

I need to implement subscription billing for a very small organization. While I would love to use the OOB Finance & Operations Subscription Billing features, there is a small caveat: one has to buy 20 (!) F&O licenses. Which is quite a lot of money for a small company who needs a maximum of three licenses so I don't get the money to buy it. 

Which means I have to find a different way. I found several solutions, especially the one from Inogic seems to fit the bill quite well.

Are there any other recommendations?

If anyone has a silver bullet how to solve the actual root cause (the 20 licensing requirements) that would be even more of a help.

    Hi Pete.

    The app you mentioned is an add-on for Dynamics 365 Sales. I don't have any experience with this app. Maybe you can ask the question in the Dynamics 365 General forum for experiences with this ISV solution.

    For sure, it is not possible to bypass the license requirement for the minimum of 20 seats.

    Hope you found a solution but if not you should consider D365 Business Central.  You have a smaller minimum licenses which you would meet. Implementation costs are afforidable and then you can either use the OOB Subscription Billing which is formerly from Singhammer. good for basic subscriptions. if you have complex subscriptions then you can add on binary Streams SBS extension.
