Hai GP forum,
Can we automate AP invoice posting? Is it advisable? Is there any way to automate Payable invoice posting?

Possible but its important to know at what conditions and when you want the automation of posting.
There are a couple of posting programs out that that automatically post GP batches. The one we use is from Envisage Software called Post Master.

I would second the recommendation for Post Master, it works great.
We also use SmartPost, & I recommend it as well.
Second for SmartPost from eOne. It just works.
One thing to note about it: you have to keep GP open all of the time for it to post and it's going to consume a GP user license.

Hi Shriram,
We use Postmaster Enterprise from Envisage.
Cool things:
1. It runs as a windows service without needing a user licence. I believe this is the only one that can do that.
2. Has multi-instance so can post faster.
3. Has additional features that can be added such as emailing of invoices.

Just like Postmaster we created windows service to automatically post the batches , for that we create a separate user id with only posting rights to certain modules and it login to GP and verify some conditions and after that post the batches and then GP will logout automatically with the gap of some duration.
