Is there an REST API for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Business edition? Tried looking online and most resources are linked to Dynamics AX which we do not have. Also tried to use Microsoft Flow but it was limiting that we could not create Customers... Tying to import/interface data programmatically but this systems looks quite limiting.

If you follow the link, the title of the page is:

Welcome to the API Reference for Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Business edition

The API is the same for NAV and 365 (BE).

    Thanks,

    Chris

Are you using a Username and WebService key or AAD?

    Review the following.

    docs.microsoft.com/.../devenv-develop-connect-apps-for-fin

    Thanks,

    Chris

Correct.  Example.  (web service key would be longer)

    Authorization: Basic QURNSU5JU1RSQVRPU

Osvaldo, I work on the APIs and would be interested in knowing your integration scenarios, and experience from competitor services.

Also, in addition to the REST API, there are connectors for Flow/PowerBI/PowerApps if those tool sets fit your requirements better.

    Flow - docs.microsoft.com/.../across-how-use-financials-data-source-flow

    PowerBI - docs.microsoft.com/.../across-how-use-financials-data-source-powerbi

    PowerApps - docs.microsoft.com/.../across-how-use-financials-data-source-powerapps

Lastly, there is various Excel support in the product, so depending on the scenario, this could be an option as well.

    Regards,

    Peter
