Mobile device adds special character to barcode which makes it unprocessable

Hi experts,
 
our customer sporadically receives the error that the mobile device add a special character to the data it reads from a barcode which makes it unprocessable.
 
It only appears on the microsoft warehouse app. We also tried with an external barcode scanner for android and it worked.
 
Our customer uses the following device and software:
 
Samsung Galaxy XCover5
Android 13

    Hi Tim,

    According to the query of related documents, a device is only Android-compatible if it can run apps that are written for the Android execution environment. Microsoft can't take any responsibility to ensure that a mobile bar code scanning app for Android is compatible with a manufacturer's bar code scanning hardware and the Android version that runs on it.

     we recommend that you test the Warehouse mobile scanning app on selected hardware before you decide on the hardware that you want to buy.
