POS Invalid pointer error

I am running Microsoft Dynamics POS on a Windows 2003 Terminal Server. When closing the Retail Operations User program. I get the error of: "Run-time error '-2147467261 (80004003)': Invalid pointer." After receiving the error the program will become unresponsive and I must kill the process to be able to open it again. Any and all information would be much appreciated.
