Do form "Batch job history" no longer exist?

How will it then be possible for a customer to monitor batchjobs that has has a recurring schedule.

When there is a recurring setup a batch job INSTANCE (history-entry) can have Error-status but the MAIN job is back in "Waiting" to be executed at next scheduled time.

In Ax2012 i am quite sure there was a separate form where you could view "Batch job history".

There indeed IS a possibility to open "Batch job history" if you go through a specific entry in form "Batch jobs".

But that is not the answer from monitoring perspective. You cannot spend time on diving in to every specific batch job to check history for details.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Magnus,

it's indeed no longer possible to open this form via the main menu in the standard system.

You can open the form unfiltered via the browser URL [yourD365URL]/?mi=BatchJobHistory (works only for Administrators) or add it to the system menu by developing a small extension.

Yes, a collegue told me about altering the URL. But in the form that is opened it is anyway not possible to make BatchJobHistory appear in a workspace in a tile. The "Add to workspace"-function is not present.

So i still wonder how the h*ll Microsoft is thinking on how to monitor batchjob errors resulting from a recurrning batch job.

    Hei Magnus,

If you change the interface to "Switch to enhanced form", you can reach the 'Batch job history' form for a specific batch job.

In order to see the 'Batch job history' for all batch jobs as Nikolaos mentioned you can use the /?cmp=DAT&mi=BatchJobHistory after the environment URL.
