can we default "Latest Purchasing Price" at the system level

Dear 

can we default the option Latest Purchasing Price so that whenever a new item is created it will automatically be checked in case the user forgets to check it ?

and same question goes for Latest Cost Price  , is there anyway to default it ?

    Hi Silvano,

    In the released product form (purchase tab), there is a parameter denominated 'latest purchase price'

    Is this one active in your system?

    yes , but this is at the product level, i was wondering if there is anywhere on the Parameter setup level that will allow me to default this

    Hi Silvano,

    The only thing I can think of are item templates.

    That is, whenever you create a new item don't do this from scratch but make use of a template that has the parameter already checked.

    Hi Silvano,

    there is no parameter to set these checkboxes by default. A possible solutions are to use a template for creating new items or to customize the initValue-method on InventTable.
