TFS 2015 compatibility with AX 2009

Hi All,

I just wanted to confirm if AX 2009 is compatible with TFS 2015. I found the below link about TFS build tools and it listed AX 2009 as supported version. Though I couldn't find anything in AX 2009 system requirements document, so just need to ask, have anyone used TFS 2015 with AX 2009 and are there any issues that I need to be aware of ?

    You can't expect any official support for such an old version, but it should work all right after installing VS 2008 SP1 and the compatibility pack.

    Thanks Martin for your response. My client have latest version of Visual Studio, so there should be no issues in regards to that.

    No, you don't understand; it's not about which version of Visual Studio they use, it's about TFS libraries that AX uses to communicate with TFS. When AX 2009 was developed, it obviously didn't know how to communicate with TFS 2015, because it didn't exist yet. It was developed against VS/TFS 2008 and the compatibility pack updates the libraries so they can talk to newer versions of TFS.
