GP Utilities: VBA Project References Some Objects Not Found

Hello:

Upon launching the GP Utilities icon for GP 2013 R2 (12.00.1920), I get a message saying "The Microsoft_Dynamics_GP.vba project references some objects that cannot be found.  These objects are listed in the file: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\GP2013\Dynamics.txt."

The following is what appears in this Dynamics.txt file:

'(L) PushButtonM11' of window 'RM_Customer_Summary' of form 'RM_Summary'

I realize that GP Utilities is not truly affected, by this message.  And, GP 2013 is functioning just fine, for our end users.  I have received no complaints about VBA or modified forms.

But, is there an easy way of cleaning this up without making the situation worse?

Thanks!

John

The VBA project that you have on the environment has a reference to a push button namely '(L) PushButtonM11', however it's not able to find that field in the dictionary.

I assume that RM_Summary form has been modified at some point of time with this push button, added that custom field to VBA, later realised that this field would not be necessary and got removed from modified form, but forgot to remove the reference of this field from VAB before it was removed from modified form.

This link is exactly what you need: blogs.msdn.com/.../removing-references-to-fields-in-vba-revisited.aspx
