Help! Easy way to run reports from Dynamics GP for auditors??

Our company switched from Quickbooks to Dynamics GP in the middle of 2011.  We are about to start our audit and need to run many reports in Dynamics GP.  The General Ledger reports come through to excel in a horrible format.  It would take too much time to make it easy to read for our auditors.  I cannot imagine with the amount of companies that use this product that this is not the only way.

What is the easiest way to run the reports that the auditors need out to excel??

    Have you explored the use of SmartLists (Microsoft Dynamics GP > SmartList)?  This is an easy way to create ad-hoc reports that export clean to Excel.

    You may also want to explore the out-of-box SQL Reporting Service Reports (if deployed) as these will export to Excel in a fairly clean manner.

    Plus have you work/created B/S , P&L  and other Financial Reports using FRX or Manangement Reports?

    Contact your partners if you don't know how to create it.

    I agree with Mike, for audit purposes, SmartList is the best reporting tool in GP.  You can export a list of every transaction that hit the GL for a specific time frame.
