How can I identify and extract a list of all existing system roles in an F&O environment?

Hi guys,

I've been tasked with extracting a list of all system roles in a live production environment. The roles consist of several custom roles in addition to the standard ones from MS. Is there an efficient way I can identify what roles are considered system roles and which ones are user roles in F&O?

If you are using .43 version of FO, then you can explore the User Security Governance Feature. Currently, it's a preview feature in FO.

Hi,

Is the definition of a system role in your context a role that is delivered out of the box and a user role a custom(ized) role? What exact difference are you looking for? There are various way of extracting security information. What and how exactly depends on the answer to my question.

@André Arnaud de Calavon The way I understand it is that the client wants me to create a list of their existing roles that can make changes in the system (config etc.), irrespective of whether it's out-of-the-box or custom. User roles are considered as roles that can only be used to perform various processes (like generating a report, posting a journal etc.), but not make any changes in the system.

it will show you all roles in the system, with all users assigned to each role
