Job Dimensions on Sales Invoice

So we added dimensions to the job and they come across to the sales invoice lines when you create the sales invoices from the job planning line.   But they do NOT populate the header of the sales invoice.   Is this an oversite on Microsoft's part or is there a reason they do not update the sales header?

I have the same question (0)

The data relating to the job is at line level only. Line data won’t update header as standard. Does the g/l not include what you need after posting?

Some sales reporting does not need to go to the line level.  Job reporting is a good example.
