Hi,
We are testing out the OOB Dynamics 365 and Sharepoint integration. Both systems are online. We ran in to a bit of an issue. Is it really not possible to have the system prompt for mandatory fields when adding documents through Dynamics 365?
When opened in SharePoint then we can see that the documents are missing mandatory fields, but in Dynamics 365, everything looks fine and no need to add any data to mandatory fields. How can this be?
If there isn't a standard way to do it, maybe someone has found a custom/code way to solve this issue?
Br, Vivian

I have the same question (0)Hi Vivian,
Thank you for your query. We have an addon SharePoint Metadata Capture add-on that allows users to capture additional metadata for a document when the same is uploaded into the SharePoint Document library from Dynamics 365 CRM.
The metadata is also available in Dynamics 365 CRM so that any action can be initiated at a later point in time. This addon is available on AppSource please find the link below. I hope this add-on will help to address your issue and more.
