Problems in offline mode with CRM Online 2016 and Outlook Add-On

hi,

we have

Win 8.1. x64

Office O365 2013 apps x64

CRM addin 2016 x64

Installed all Windows and Office Updates

and when we go offline our outlook freeze. I seams that addon is still looking for internet connection  Microsoft Support try since 3 months solve the problem but still no solution. Maybe somebody of you have the same problems and know how we can solve this issue?

    Hi Agnieszka,

    Do you have any solution for this Problem so far?

    We use Win7 x64 with Office 2016 and CRM 2011 Rollup 18 and get the same problem as you. If we click on the "go Offline" button the following error Shows up:

    "The Installation has failed. Setup cannot continue because Microsoft Office Outlook is not installed."

    Also we have a case open with Microsoft, but there are no solutions so far.

    Hi Marino,

    no we still don't have solution. But I don't get this error the Problem is we can't work with Outlook after Installation of Add-on in Ofline Mode.

    As far I get some Information I will post it.

    In my offices, we did not go with office x64 as it has quirks like you mentioned. Good luck!
