Hi,

Quick question, is it a bug that KPI SLA does not have Filtered View?

any ideas how to retrieve the data for SSRS report? (FetchXml does not supply the functionality i want from the report).

    Hi Tal,

    There doesn't seem to exist a filtered view towards the SLAKPIInstance entity.

    But I would suggest two other options which you can do, to achieve your goal:

    1. Use fetch xml to fetch data from that table. (recommended)

    Sample:

    <fetch version="1.0" output-format="xml-platform" mapping="logical" distinct="false">

     <entity name="slakpiinstance">

       <attribute name="name" />

       <attribute name="status" />

       <attribute name="regarding" />

       <attribute name="failuretime" />

       <attribute name="warningtime" />

       <attribute name="succeededon" />

       <attribute name="slakpiinstanceid" />

       <order attribute="name" descending="false" />

     </entity>

    </fetch>

    What exactly is not working out for you using the fetch xml?

    2. Use directly the SLA BASE db table by logging in through an embedded user credentials in the report, to access the BASE table. (not recommended.)

    Thanks,

    Bojan

    I want the report to show a calculated column of the business days between now and the failure date

    using fetchxml does not help in this issue. I know about direct use, but I wanted to avoid it.

    too bad Microsoft is not consistent with their product.

    When making reports, sometimes all you need it to bring the data in it, and after this, you can use any kind of VB scripts, or SSRS functionality to achieve your requirement. Practically you are not limited in what you want to do.

    And determining amount of time/duration between two dates, is fairly simple.
