No journal lines were created after selecting "OK"

KHi Community,

I wonder why is it that after I have click "OK" after selecting the perimeters of the Close income statement and proceed to go to the General Journal.

I don't see any ledger entries in my journal?

Below is what happen after I click ”OK".

BC will run....

The journal lines were created.

But in Journal, I don't see any general lines. What can't I see the lines even though the batch journal is correct?

Hello Josh,

Try using the filter ''C31/12/21'' for the posting date in your General Journal.

Close income statement creates rows with posting dates that have a character 'C' before the date. It will be the same in the GL entries after posting the close income journal.

If you follow the procedure from the next link then you should be able to generate your closing year journal.

check General Ledger Setup - if You have Additional Reporting Currency set up.
If it is used, then journal lines are not created, but posted directly.

Hi KasparsSemjonovs ,

I have checked my General Ledger Setup > Additional Reporting set up. It is empty. Only the rest of the Acc. Sched. are populated. So I guess this was not part of the reason ?
