Purchase order (open order) delete

I am trying to delete a purchase order which has around 1000 lines in it. when I select the PO and click on "delete" button nothing happens. I tried to delete line by line by selecting around 100 lines at once, still it did not work.

Can anyone help on this. Is there any alternate way?

Hi vidya.achari15@gmail.com,

You cannot delete a purchase order when it is in open order status. You have to finish it off to invoice or you can cancel it.

Hi, I am able to delete PO with very less lines.

When i tried to delete a PO which has more than 100 lines, it will get stuck.

Note : I am trying to delete a PO which is in open order state and no product receipt created.
