Dear Sirs,
I am Djordje, researcher from Tipteh. We have started to use Dynamics 365 Layout on Hololens 2 in the trial period. I am trying and failing to log in on the PC app Dynamics 365 Import Tool to get our layout and our models in MR space. Please help.

Unable to login is a very general description, it can be caused by different issues. Can you please provide more details and screenshots, so others may have an idea and can help
-- what steps happened during the login
-- in which step the issue start and what is the error message
-- did you try with different user accounts/different PCs, the same issue for all?

Since my email from Friday, I have tried on different PC to login in Dynamics 365 Import Tool and I still can’t login to start working. Please help.
I have been informed that Layout is discontinued and will be part of the Guides. Do we need to pay a licence for Guides to start working now with Import Tool.
Please help because this is important for us to try to import our models and layout space to show investor that this is technology that he needs.

I received an answer that Dynamics 365 Import Tool is discontinued from June 1st, and for the future work use D365 Guides. New features from Layout app will be included in near future.

You are correct that Layout and Import Tool are being discontinued as separate applications while we move core functionality into Guides. Hi Edg1931, I am a program manager on the Dynamics team and I'm sorry you've had trouble getting Import Tool activated. As Djordje noted, we are discontinuing Layout and Import Tool as separate applications and instead moving core functionality to Guides. As a result, it is no longer possible to activate free trials of Layout or Import Tool.
However, the good news is that you can start a free trials of Guides and start working on layouts now as we continue to implement features. To get started on Guides, go here:

In the meantime our team is very interested in understanding your scenarios so we can prioritize features. I'm personally very excited about the Guides move because it opens new scenarios and possibilities for traditional Layout users.
