Hi,
Is there any tool to change existing serial number in GP. We are going to enable serial number in GP. But we do not have details of serial numbers of existing stocks. Can we import some dummy data from backend to existing serial number for stock items. We need to edit the dummy serial number by using any tool and invoice out after editing the serial number by using this tool. Or provide any alternate solution to solve this issue.

There is no way to do this using native functionality for the user to do this without adjusting the stock out and back in again with an inventory adjustment transaction.

You can certainly do it via SQL by updating the inventory table.
