Ignore budget check if there is no budget entry

Hi,

I have a requirement to ignore the budget check for the periods which the user did not register any budget entry , for example

Budget cycle is 12 months , and the budget interval is monthly wise , the user enter the following budget register entries for the account number 5100101

Date , Account , Amount

1 Feb , 5100101 , 100,000

1 May , 5100101 , 200,000

i need system to ignore the budget check for the account 5100101 for any amount in Jan, Mar, Abril since there is not entries in these dates , How to achieve that

Hi Ahmed,

There is no out of the box solution for your requirement.

I think the only option is to create budget cycles per each period where you want to control budget.

Other option is to create a financial dimension to add the month into the equation but it could be cumbersome to maintain.
