Missing published data sets

Hi Microsoft cohort.

We are using Power BI for the advance reporting from our ERP - Dynamics 365 Business Central (completely in cloud, monthly subscription model).

Until this Friday  (11th September), getting data from Business Central was working perfectly. But, starting from Friday, we are having issue (check error message below) to get data.

We were using same Power BI data models, without any changes, in the last couple of months. Also, no permissions or setup updates were made in ERP or Power BI that could cause this error.

After detailed analyses of the use case issue, we have found that data sets which were created and published in Business Central are missing there

But those missing date sets in Business Central are visible in Power BI

Since users can't delete published data sets in Business Central, do you know how we can restore those missing data sets in Business Central? And what was the cause of the issue of missing published data sets in Business Central?

Looking forward to any update.

Power BI Error message

"Vendor open balance has failed to refresh.
Failure details: The key didn't match any rows in the table. "

Thanks, support ticket for Microsoft might help us. Probable there are more companies around the world that are having same challenges.

If it's in the production, you will need to contact your BC partner. it's hard to tell without having access to your environment.

Also, older user created data sets are not deleted, only some of them.

    Hi Teddy.

    Thanks for the reply.

This is happening on productive environment. Do you maybe know which extension is should be published to solve the issue?

I had challenges with automatic extension installation with update last time also, users could not print some report because new extension was installed. :)

sounds like the extension has been uninstalled from your environment.

are you using production or sandbox ?

there is a update on BC a few days ago. If you are connecting to sandbox, all extensions from vscode in sandbox are unpublished until you republish it again.
