Transfer Lines Don't Show Up in Load Planning Workbench

I'm trying to configure the transportation module, mainly for use tracking transfer shipments between warehouses, and cannot figure out how to get the transfer lines to show up in the load planning workbench.  I think that I've done all of the necessary setup, but cannot find a comprehensive list of everything needed to get this module working in order to troubleshoot this myself.

In other posts on this topic, I've seen people mention the warehouse management module, which is not set up in our system as our warehouses are managed by third parties.  Could this be related to my issue?

    Hi EEdw,

    The transportation management and warehouse management modules can only be used for a warehouse which is enabled for advance warehousing even if your item is only applicable for transportation module.

    So make sure the items in you company are enabled to use transportation module but the storage dimension should not be checked to enable for advance warehousing.

    The warehouses should be enabled for advance warehousing and then only you can use TMS partially as per your requirement.

    If your warehouse is not advance warehouse enabled you will see no lines in the load planning work bench.

    Follow up question: is advanced warehousing synonymous with the "Use warehouse management processes" field?  If so, must I delete my existing warehouse records in order to edit this value?

    Hi EEdw,

    Yes the check mark "use advance warehouse management processes" makes a warehouse enabled for advance warehousing and if this is not checked for your warehouse then you will get no lines in load planning workbench.

    So yes you cannot update this for the existing warehouse and create a new which is enabled for the same.
