Having trouble upgrading to GP 10 Service Pack 5

I'm trying to install Service Pack 5 for GP 10.0 on our Terminal Server.

When I launch the executable, it hangs on the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Components Screen. The progress bar under Gathering required information gets to about 95% and stops responding. I've tried both launching the executable directly as well as through the add/remove programs screen to put the Term Server into 'Installation Mode' with the same results. We're currently running SP4.

Has anyone seen this issue before?

Hi Alan,

If you are still having the issue please create a Windows installer log file and recreate the issue. When it appears to hang file the installer log and seach for a return value 3 as this would be a failure point during the install.
