can someone make a citrix connection to a Dynamics GP installation remotely?

i think you would need to know the path to the server that has the GP client installed on it, you would need to have a valid user id and password and then sure you could install the citrix receiver and connect.
You can publish GP as a stand-alone application on Citrix. May have problems with printers, though. We found it quite cumbersome.
Better use it through Citrix desktop.
I'll echo that comment. Our first IT provider was inept and could not get the default printer from Windows to be recognized by citrix. They also struggled with the dex.ini file and sharing it across citrix users. Firing that IT provider helped a lot. Once we had a provider that knew how things could work, the issues went away.
