Dual-write not syncing custom entity updates to Dataverse

I have built a custom entity in Finance and Operations (a similar setup to the below screenshot) - and I am attempting to sync it to Dataverse via Dual-write, however, after the initial sync, the Dataverse table doesn't show any updates after the entity has been updated.
For context, the custom entity is a read-only and the join mode is set to outer join.

I have tried to troubleshoot this and Microsoft said
/Determine whether the data source is tracked in the business events definition. For example, in the following illustration, no field from the DefaultDimensionDAVs table and underlying tables are tracked for changes. Data sources that use an outer join and that are marked as read-only aren't tracked./
I want to know what is the root cause of the syncing failure and whether the above is the cause.
I have the same question (0)

    Hi Jay,

You posted the same question already a few days ago. Please don't duplicate your questions on the forum. Instead, you can add comments to your post. I now removed the previous (duplicate) question.

Do you have other entities that are working correctly? Have you tried other property values on the data source? The DefaultDimensionsDAVS is a view. Changes can probably only be tracked on primary tables. What exact data do you need to sync?

    Hi,
What you described is mentioned in the prerequisites for dual-write, did you try it according to the steps of the documentation?

You can also check out the documentation on dual write customization guide:
