Business Process Flow Question

We are using a 2-entity, lead-opportunity process flow that flips from the lead to the opportunity when qualified from the lead. However, not all of the opportunities come from leads, some opportunities are just created from scratch (using the New Opportunity button). Is there a way using just BPF steps to set a new opportunity into that same BPF? Or does a workflow, Flow, or plugin have to be used to set use the same process flow?

Yes, you are right. You need to duplicate your process. From a business point of view, you have two different business processes.

So basically I need almost a duplicate BPF (without the lead step). Is that correct? Was hoping to not have to manage 2 BPFs that are nearly identical.

Hi,

You need to create a second business process flow applied to the entity opportunity. The first stage will be a copy of your existing Business Process Flow stage.
