How to access administration and settings

Greetings, few questions on UCI transition

1. Where's the administration in UCI? - Right now, even with UCI enabled in our sandbox, admins have to click on a gear icon on top right corner and then Advanced Settings to display the settings and administration options such as for changing a user's security roles or to create new teams. And this display appears to render in the legacy web client mode even though the dynamics instance is supposed to be in UCI mode, with the old sitemap display and all. Are we missing some action items to get adminstration settings available in UCI mode, or is this the intended display and mechanism to access administration settings in UCI mode?

2. What security permissions are needed for a user to be able to access

a) https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com

b) https://make.powerapps.com/

Thanks

    1. Access UCI Administration

You should be able to access these via the https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com location and selecting the Setting option for the desired Environment

You will notice that some of these links still take you to the legacy sections for now.

    2. Security permissions needed for a user to be able to access

    a. https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com

Here are some that are needed to access and manage for D365 sections

Dynamics 365 Admin, Power Platform Admin, Global Admin, Global Reader

Are you talking also about regular users and not just administrative roles?

    b. https://make.powerapps.com

This should be similar to the above

Dynamics 365 Admin, Power Platform Admin, Global Admin, Global Reader

    Hello,

You can create an app or add a new area to an existing App and point it to user entity. Please refer the link on creating an app.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/customize/create-edit-app

Tenant admins(including Global Admin) and environment admins can access PowerApps admin center.

    Best Regards

You don't need to be an admin to access make.powerapps.com .
Environment Maker or System Customizer roles also allows you access.
